OFORI SIGNS!
The club is pleaced to announce the addition of Tyrone Ofori to the squad, the centre forward joins us from Italian side Cavese 1919 and has had international clearance to play in tonights game against Newtown.
Many fans will have seen Tyrone in action pre season, and I'm sure he will impress as the season unfolds. Ofori started his career at Aston Villa before moving to Shrewsbury in the U18s set up, then to Tamworth where he Made his first team debut in August 2018 against St Ives Town.
Tyrone on news of his signing added :- "I'm really Happy to be joining the Druids, I’m looking forward to playing Men’s football something I haven’t had much opportunity to do and getting to know my team mates. Hopefully I can help the team to have a successful season and impress the fans with my performances on the pitch." Assistant Manager, Jayson Starkey commented :- "We are really pleased to have signed Tyrone. He’s young and hungry which is important and he wants to improve. He’s been in pre season and shown us that he wants to score goals. I’m sure everyone will welcome Tyrone and his family into the Druids family."
