Arsan chosen for Wales!
Mark Jones announced today his Wales 'C' Squad ahead of their upcoming fixture against England on the 20th March.
We are extremely proud to say Druids own Naim Arsan was named today. Naim who is a local lad from Ruabon, has grown and developed as a player since joining Druids in the summer of 2016.
He has also shown his hard work and determination in securing his regular place spot in our starting 11! A highly versatile player, he will be a great addition to the Wales squad.
We spoke with Naim earlier today and he said "It's obviously a huge honour to be called up to represent your country, its a privilege I've had before when representing Wales in futsal. I'm looking forward to meeting up with the rest of the squad now ahead of the game - I'd also like to thank everyone at Druids for the messages of thanks and support following today's announcement"
John Hughes, Chairman said :- "A huge congratulations to Naim, he's proven himself to be a invaluable player at Druids and has improved heaps and bounds since joining us. The call up is not only an endorsement of Ni, its a credit to Huw and the coaching team here at The Rock - We wish Naim and the rest of the squad the best of luck ahead of the 20th March"
The match will be played at Jenner Park, home of Barry Town. More details can be found here
