Iwan Cartwright joins the ancients!
Iwan Cartwright puts pen to paper and joins Druids as their first transfer of 2018.
He spent his first half of the season at Newtown after impressing in pre season, prior to his time at the robins Cartwright had played for Colwyn Bay FC, Nuneaton & Wrexham.
Iwan hit the ground running, playing his first game for Druids away at Carmarthen last weekend coming on as a sub for Eckersley at right back. He will do much to strengthen the Druids squad as they head in to phase 2.
Jayson Starkey, Assistant Manager commented :- "Iwan is a player who we spoke briefly with during the summer. We are really pleased to have brought him in this transfer window and with him being a local wrexham lad he knows the clubs history and fits in perfect with the players we already have within the squad. Iwan can play a number of positions and already shown his willingness to learn and adapt to what we ask of him. We look forward to working with and developing Iwan into the player we believe he has the potential to be."
