Druids V Albion game to raise money for local residential home
The upcoming pre season friendly between Cefn Druids & Cefn Albion will be as ever a exciting fixture for our community, even more so following the new partnership announced last month between the clubs that will see Albion ground sharing at The Rock.
Following discussions between the two clubs it has been agreed that proceeds from the match will go towards Plas Bod Llwyd a local Cefn Mawr residential home, it is well known in the community and again reaffirms both clubs commitment and love for the local area.
John Hughes Chairman of the Board commented "I'm so pleased we have agreed that money raised from the game can go towards such a well loved local facility such as Plas Bod Llwyd, both Druids and Albion have stressed their commitment to the local community and following our recent partnership I can see lots more benefits such as this for the Cefn area"
The match will be played at The Rock on Wednesday 26th July KO 19.45
