Druids / Australian Futsal Partnership

Following on from our previous announcement that Cefn Druids and Australian Futsal had entered into a partnership we were pleased to welcome Alistair Miller (Australian Futsal) and Marc Roberts (Wrexham Futsal) to The Rock.
As part of the arrangement new Futsal boards have been erected at the ground promoting the sport and the partnership.
John Hughes, Chairman of the board said "This is a great opportunity for the club to foster relationships between Wales and Australia.
Futsal is a good crowd pleaser, and we are proud to have 3 international Futsal players here at Cefn Druids and welcome Wrexham Futsal as a partner via Australian Futsal.
Alistair Miller, Director of Australian Futsal has a firm connection with Wrexham as a result of family emigration from the area some years ago. He is pleased to be involved with us and we are expecting a good rapport over the coming years.
Australian Futsal players will play games at The Rock and train here before International Tournaments in future, and we hope to see the relationship grow and expand in the future"
