Pre Season : Druids 1-3 Wrexham
Druids kicked off their pre season by welcoming Wrexham AFC to The Rock, any game between these two sides will always attract attention, two of the oldest teams in wales. This match didn't disappoint with an attendance of 1,854!
The game ended with Wrexham winning 3-1 over the ancients in a close fought encounter, Wrexham scoring the first after 28 mins (Trialist B) before increasing their lead in the 80th (James Jennings), Druids managed to pull one back with a penalty slotted away by Jonny Taylor. The game was then put to bed with a Wrexham goal at the death (Ben Barratt) - with both sides fielding a number of new trialists there will be much for fans to digest following the match.
