Druids ready for Llandudno Challenge
Good Friday sees Druids welcome Llandudno to The Rock, the game has particular importance as even a point could see Druids secure their Welsh Premier League survival. Last weekend Druids managed an impressive draw against a resurgent Newtown, but wins for Rhyl and Aberystwyth left the Ancients feeling deflated.
Llandudno will be a challenge but its one Huw Griffiths (First Team Manager) feels Druids are ready for.
"Last week saw us earn a hard fought point away at Newtown and praise has to be given to both sets of players for there performances in tough conditions. Tomorrow we welcome Llandudno to the rock. We have prepared for what will certainly will be a well organised and tough Llandudno side. "
Huw will be hoping his side can continue their good run of form - with only one defeat in their last 10 games. The Druids side will be spurred on by the sound of support from the "Druids Till I Die" group of supporters who will be making their yearly visit to The Rock and we're sure will make their presence known!
