Former Druids player visits The Rock
Recently we were visited by Bill Roberts who played for Druids in the late forties. Bill is 95 and now lives in Ruabon,having lived and worked in France for 32 years.
Bill was born in Plas Bennion in 1922. He was pleased to be able to recognise some old team mates from photographs on the wall of the Legends Lounge,especially that of his best man Bill Meredith.
Bill had a tour of the ground ,was given a Cefn Druids scarf and met with our manager Huw Griffiths for a chat and a cup of tea. All ex Druids are most welcome at the Rock.
